During the Ratha-yatra ceremony Rupa Gosvami saw Lord Jagannatha. He also saw Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu dancing and chanting in front of the ratha.

After Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, taking all His devotees with Him, performed the Gundica-marjana [washing and cleansing of the Gundica temple], He went to the garden known as Aitota and accepted prasadam at a picnic within the garden.

Secondary devotional service is of three kinds, according to which of the three material modes predominates, or according to which material motivation -- distress and so on -- brings one to bhakti.

"May Rupa Gosvami, by Your mercy, become so powerful that he will be able to describe the transcendental mellows of devotional service."

Having obtained pure love of God, one looks only at the Lord, hears only about Him, speaks only of Him, and thinks only of Him.

When the Lord arrived, Rupa Gosvami immediately offered his obeisances. Haridasa informed the Lord, "This is Rupa Gosvami offering You obeisances," and the Lord embraced him.

Rupa Gosvami then departed to see Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, for he was very eager to see Him.

Meanwhile, following the order of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, Srila Rupa Gosvami returned to Vrndavana. He desired to write dramas concerning the pastimes of Lord Krsna.

Nonetheless, from time to time pure love of God is revealed to those who are qualified.
