Dear Sanga listeners,
Attached is the class outline for Dhanurdhara Swami's class tonight on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.
Dear Sanga listeners,
My respects.
Thank you for attending the first class on Yoga Sutras. As I teach it, ideas will develop how best to present it in this phone conference medium and with the varied audience of listeners. One Idea I got already is to refine my personal notes after the class and send them to you. Also I will send before the class a basic summary of the subjects I will speak on. Here are my notes for the first class.
Humbly in service,
Dhanurdhara Swami
In this evening's class, Srila Dhanurdhara Swami gives an introduction to the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.
Maharaja is basing his class on an advanced copy of a new translation of the Yoga Sutras by Edwin Bryant, professor of Hinduism at Rutgers University. Publication is expected later this spring by Farrar Straus & Giroux, a division of Macmillan.
